The “Book Love” is staying alive during distance learning. Seniors in Ms. Abrams' class took home at least one title from the classroom library to read. In their second week at home, seniors shared their book talks on Flipgrid to keep the recommendations flowing. Half of the 500 books in Ms. Abrams' classroom library come from a Chatham Education Foundation grant. During remote learning, Ms. Abrams is recommending one title every day through book talks posted on YouTube. All recommended books are e-books and audiobooks that can be checked out of the digital holdings at the Library of the Chathams. Thank you teachers for keeping our students engaged during these unusual times.
