Chatham Education Foundation is a leading provider of private funding to the School District of the Chathams. We support innovative and creative educational programs and special projects that are designed to enrich the mind and body. Through our fundraising efforts, CEF was able to award over $104,000 in grants to teachers, supervisors and school in the 2018-19 School Year, raising our total awards to the district to over $1.4 million since 1997.  We work with the School District on funding grants that Foster Student Well-Being, Create Innovative Learning Spaces, Support Educator Growth and Enhance Student Learning. Recent innovative grants that have profoundly impacted our teachers and students include TEDxYouth@Chatham.com, The Thinking Classroom--a collaborative math classroom, See the World with Virtual Reality and so many more. Our Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization managed by a board of volunteer Trustees from all corners of the community and we operate independently of the Board of Education and Parent-Teacher Organizations.
